Olafur Eliasson & Minik Rosing 'London Ice Watch' 2018-19

IMG_5396.jpg

By 20th December the twelve chunks of Greenland glacier had already reduced in size, but were still making their point.  Actually touching some hard evidence of global warming, regardless of the causes, had an impact beyond just reading about the issue.  The positioning of this work in front of what used to be one of the largest coal-fired power stations was particularly apposite.  This experience reinforced my determination to create art which people can participate with mentally and physically.
